This type of cage is ideal for raising & keeping many types of insect, although not as clear as acrylic, it does provides good budget form of housing,there are two vents , one fitted to each side, to aid air circulation within the enclosure.
 
The vent has a fine mesh inner, which will prevent even fruitflies from escaping, with it's lock down handles form a very secure environment .
 
This item comes with a twig pot to help keep those leaves fresher for longer,ideal if you're going away for a couple of days
